How long have you been in business? We have been servicing Northeastern Ohio since 1959. How much do you charge? Carpet and furniture cleaning are based on the square footage. Furniture cleaning is base on a per piece basis. Please check our Price List for a more detailed look. How long does it take to dry? Under normal weather conditions it takes 12-24 hours to dry. Drying time increases with hot & humid conditions. During the winter months, carpet will dry faster with your furnace on. Also moving air in the rooms with fans will help decrease time. How often should I clean my carpet? Generally, we recommend that you clean your carpets once a year. Pets and high traffic areas may require cleaning more often. Do you use chemicals, is it safe for pet & children? The Hydra-Clean method is very safe for your children and pets. We use a mild detergent and hot water extraction. We also use 3M® brand Scotchgard which is safe for your home environment. Do you clean all types of carpet & furniture? We clean all types of wall to wall carpeting, as well as all your fine Orientals and loose area rugs. In Home furniture cleaning methods may vary depending on specific fabrics. Our experienced techs can determined the safest way to clean your carpets & fabrics. Can you remove pet stains? Pet stains can be very difficult at times. Each situation will vary depending on the animal and the severity of the stain. We will do our best to remove the stain, but there is also a chances that urine & vomit stains can discolor carpeting. We offer a very good deodorizer and disinfectant to be applied to problem areas. This helps to eliminate odors. More Info. Are you insured? Yes, we are covered. What do we have to do prepare for cleaning? We ask you to please remove any small furniture and breakables off of end tables. Also if you have pet, please run the vacuum before we arrive for service. More Info. Do you offer carpet protection? We offer 3M® Scotchgard. This is to be applied to your carpets after the steam cleaning process. The costs is based on the square footage of the room. Do you move furniture? Yes, within reason. There are a few pieces that we will not move however. Grandfather clocks, grand pianos and some heavy flat pieces of furniture. The concerns are in the drying process. Do you stand behind your work? Yes. If there are any problems with our service, please call us back. We will be happy to stop out and check it out. There are however cases that spots just will not come out. We will try to point those out to you before we leave your house. Do you repair rugs & carpeting? We have a full repair facility capable of handle simple binding to the complex re-stitching of your fine oriental rugs. Please check out our Repair page for more information. Do you sell rugs or carpeting? Yes we sell Area & Oriental rugs. We have a wide selection of beautiful rugs for every design, color & budget. We also sell a premium line of wool carpeting. Do you sell padding for area rugs? Yes, we do. There are two types of padding for area rugs. For rugs laid over wall to wall carpet, we offer No-Muv. And for rugs laid on hard floor covers, we offer Dura-Hold padding. The padding is custom cut to your area rugs while in our plant. Contact our office for more details. What forms of payment do you take? Cash, checks and major credit cards. Payment is expected at time of service, unless arraignments are made with our office. How long does it take for oriental rug cleaning? 1 week with our pickup and delivery service. Customers can also bring their rugs to our Miles Road plant for quicker service and a 20% discount. Can you clean area rugs in the home? Most oriental rugs should be cleaned in our plant, although some reproductions can cleaned in the home. Rugs should be lied flat to dry and not used for a day. What areas do you service? All of Northeastern Ohio, including Akron , Canton, Medina and Lorain Counties. Areas are determined by scheduling days. When you call to set up an appointment, days in your areas will be given. How long does in home cleaning take? Every job is different. A lot depends on the amount of furniture we have to move. When rooms are empty the cleaning time is shortened. Are there any problem carpets or fabrics? Most common carpets and fabrics are not a problem to clean. However; due to differences in manufacturing, there are some cases that can be problems. We will do everything to insure the safest method of cleaning for your carpet and upholstery. Do you need to use electricity or water? Our machines are virtual power plants on wheels. We supply our own power and water. The Main machine is mounted in our cleaning van. The hose and cleaning wand is all that enters the home. Do I need to stay off carpet after cleaning? With drying time being general within 24 hours, you should minimize your traffic to insure drying quality. You can however walk on the carpet if needed with bare or stocking feet. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN WALKING FROM WET CARPET TO ANY HARD SURFACE - IT WILL BE VERY SLIPPERY!!! Do you offer specials or coupons? We will update you via email of special offers. Do I have to be home when you clean? No, you don't have to leave home during or after cleaning. We do not use any harsh materials when cleaning that would cause problems to anyone. We just ask that you be careful of the damp carpeting until it dries thoroughly. |
